Somaliland TV

     While recovering from the stomach flu, I called in sick and spent the day watching Somaliland TV. The first two videos are reruns of a classic Somali play from the 70s. The play included several storylines: a woman trying to marry off her disabled son, a Somali man singing in English, etc.



The following video is from a popular Arab soap opera translated in Somali.

    Correction! Correction! Senora..The play was in the 80s and not in the 70s bc Somalia did not have colored video recorders at the time, I could be wrong, but im saying this with an educated guess...Oh god, you had me cracking up on the Somali translation of the arab drama, specially sida uu ninka u hadlayo..loooooool
